Emergency contact for crisis situations

Emergency contact for crisis situations

Telemental health allows for anyone in the State of Texas to receive services from the location of their choosing. However, this limits the ability for your therapist to assist in the time of crisis due to not having familiarity with the services in the community you live in or are seeking services from. Prior to beginning Telemental health, please be aware of where your local emergency room is. During your initial appointment we will also find this information together and ensure you have it in a safe place.

Please Note: The phone number for Mindset Therapy is not always manned and should not be used for emergency situations. In an emergency, such as thoughts of harm to self or others or in an abusive situation, you can use the following resources:

  1. 911
  2. National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255
  3. Crisis Text Line: Text CONNECT to 741741
